Sergeant Reiter acting as a platoon commander during World War II drove the enemy from a position which gave them plenty of cover by a determined bayonet attack, although he was severely wounded in the head he continued leading his platoon which ended in the complete route of the enemy. Sergeant Reitier’s leadership and determination to close with the enemy greatly contributed to the success of the counterattack.Now a scarce and hard to find biographical title about a multiple gallantry recipient. 010315
