The Mulgrave Shire Council was a local government area in Far North Queensland, Australia, that existed from 1940 until it was amalgamated into the City of Cairns in 1995. It was originally established as the Cairns Divisional Board in 1879, became the Cairns Shire Council in 1902, and was renamed Mulgrave Shire in 1940. The shire covered the rural and surrounding areas of Cairns, spanning an area of roughly 1,718 square kilometers.
