WEST AUSTRALIANA Aboriginal Agriculture Biography –
Frank Boswood Lacy, born in New Zealand, came to the Kimberleys in 1923 and worked as a drover; account of Forrest River Mission, Munja Aboriginal Settlement and Mount Elizabeth Station; details of Aboriginal culture and work in cattle industry. New Zealand born Lacy worked on the Forrest River Mission (c 1924-1944); trecked from Broome to Wyndham; did the last Mule Pack Royal Mail run from Fitzroy Crossing & Halls Creek (1937); mustered along the Ord River basin; drove cattle to Katherine and ran the Mt Elizabeth Station (from 1946).
