He is a historian of Australian science and culture who has been developing online resources relating to archives and history since 1993. Tom Griffiths is a professor of history in the Research School of Social Sciences at the Australian National University?Canberra. He is the author of Forests of Ash: An Environmental History, Hunters and Collectors: The Antiquarian Imagination in Australia, and Slicing the Silence: Voyaging to Antarctica. Libby Robin is a historian of science and environment who works at the Centre for Resource and Environmental Studies, an interdisciplinary research school of the Australian National University; and in the Centre for Historical Research at the National Museum of Australia.
