A compilation of six children’s stories by Tarella Quin [later Daskein] and illustrated by Ida Rentoul Outhwaite.
This was the author’s first book and the illustrator’s third and marked the beginning of a folklore that was truly Australian. Full page b/w line drawings and other drawings throughout. Foreword by Ethel Turner.
