Tasmania’s wild places are internationally renowned for their scenic, ecological and wilderness values. Yet many of these areas remain partly or wholly unprotected and are under threat from logging, mining and similar developments.

Endangered is a celebration of these vulnerable and often very beautiful wild places. It is also a call to action to ensure that these areas are given the national park status they deserve � places like the spectacular Tarkine coast in the state’s northwest, the rainforests of the Blue Tier, and the towering eucalypt forests of the Styx, Weld, Florentine and Huon valleys.
