The leaders were marched in chains for hundreds of miles and gaoled in loaded courts. This was the birth of the ALP. Many of the leaders became Members of Parliament. This is the first time the real story has been told of the machinations of the pastoralists, politicians, banksters, and like parasites in their antagonism against Australian workers.”
