The Author Peter Stanley questions the reality of a Japanese Invasion of Australia in 1942 WW2.Stanley believes that an invasion was never contemplated by the Japanese war hierarchy. He also questions the notion of the Battle For Australia. Huge controversy erupted over this book between people who have become known as ‘invasionists’. The actual book looks at all the main battles including Darwin Bombing, Kokoda , Fall of Singapore from an Australian perspective.
