Book First Published in August 1934 Eleven of the stories were originally published in eleven issues of Popular Flying Magazine, from July 1933 until May 1934

These stories were later all published, (except “Fair Cargo”), in eight parts, with individual story titles, in The Modern Boy, issues 377 to 384, dated 27^th April 1935 to 15^th June 1935

These stories were then later re-published, (except “Down in the Forest”), in four different air annuals published by John Hamilton between 1935 and 1938, see  Air Annuals

This contains thirteen short stories that all flow together into one complete story. The stories are:-

THE GOLD RUSH

Biggles, Algy & Smyth are working for a Company in Guiana. It goes bust and they get the plane.
