  • Oui was an American adult men’s magazine published from 1972 to 2007. Originally launched by Playboy Enterprises under Hugh Hefner as a counterpart to Playboy, it targeted a younger demographic and adapted content inspired by European adult publications.
    • The Playboy Era (1972–1981): Launched in 1972, Oui aimed to compete with more sexually explicit rivals like Penthouse. Despite its initial popularity, it split the readership of its sister publication, Playbo.
    • Due to lacking financial sustainability, Playboy Enterprises sold the publication in June 1981.
    • Vintage copies and notable issues of Oui remain popular collector’s items.
